The Sustainable Development Department (SDD) believes that our children are truly our future and so sustainability should be entrenched in them from early on. This way, we have children who grow up to be adults who understand the connections between our economic, social and environmental objectives and make decisions based on this knowledge.
This Resource Guide was designed to introduce teaching and activity strategies on sustainable development issues into our school settings. Real life issues that are facing Bermuda are presented, along with primary, middle and high school activities and lessons that will hopefully enhance your teaching. These issues address either an economic, environmental or social sustainable development issue.

The SDD has also created a pamphlet of additonal SD activities for schools.
